Eleftheria Papanikolaou is a lawyer, registered with the Thessaloniki Bar Association, specializing in
digital law, data protection and intellectual property. She is among the first certified patent attorneys in Greece, providing legal support on patent protection and innovation management. As an Associate at Digital Law Experts (DLE), she provides legal services on
GDPR compliance, cybersecurity, and intellectual property rights.

Before joining DLE, she worked as a Technology Transfer Consultant at the Aristotle University of
Thessaloniki, where she was involved in the management of the university’s intellectual property
portfolio, research commercialization, and the support of spin-off creation. She has also worked at a
Thessaloniki-based law firm specializing in corporate and banking law.
She is currently based in Athens. She holds an MSc in Law and Informatics from the University of
Macedonia and an LL.B. in Law from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She speaks Greek, English,
German, and Italian.
